Property Registration

To register your house you must contribute:

  • Updated property title that must contain: nature of the property (Urban or Rural).
  • Location.
  • Description (Type of Property and its component parts).
  • Measurements and boundaries, occupied area and total area.
  • Value or legal price.
  • Nature of Law.
  • Holder(s) with their complete generals.
  • Transmitter of the right with its complete generals.
  • Official or authority that issued the title.
  • Identity document of the person requesting registration or representation in the corresponding cases.
  • Proof of Tax Payment, if applicable.

The application may be submitted by:

  • The acquirer of the right, the one who transmits the right, the legal or voluntary representative of the aforementioned persons or any person with a legitimate interest in ensuring the right to register.

Terms for registration

  • 15 business days from the filing of the request. The term can be extended to 30 more working days, exceptionally if other documents are required to be requested outside the registry, to verify the validity of the title.

Registration is charged according to the value or legal price of the property.

The registrar will advise in each case what corresponds.

Service hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

                      Friday from: 8:00 to 4:30 PM
