The municipality of Calimete has within its buildings of heritage value a work that constitutes a true jewel within the architecture of the territory, the building that today occupies the Museum “Combate de Godínez”, which owes its name to one of the events most important historical events that occurred during the invasion campaign in the 95 war.

• Internal loan: Is the service that is performed when the user requests a document to be used in the library institution.
• External loan: Service that guarantees computer insurance to cover the demands of users by delivering documents for consultation or reading outside the institution.
• Interlibrary loan: Services to satisfy the requests of the users of the information that other libraries of the network have.
• Library extension service: It is a service that enables the library to bring library services closer to rural and urban areas that do not have a public library and where actual or potential users are found who, for reasons of remoteness or other limitations, cannot attend to the institution, in which there are various modalities such as: Loan office, reading room, library house and traveling cashier.
