In the municipality there are 24 works considered heritage of our town, among them are:
Caimito de La Hanábana
Monument dedicated to José Martí located in the Caimito de la Hanabana belonging to the town of Amarillas, where our National Hero lived in the year 1862.
Homenaje al Combate de Godínez
Obelisk located in the Batey of the old Godínez sugar mill, belonging to Calimete, where on December 29 the bloody combat took place between the invading column led by Antonio Maceo and Máximo Gómez, and the Spanish forces, considered one of the most important in the invasion of the West.
Sons of Calimete
Busts to Raulín González and Enrique Noda, located on Paseo de Calimete:
- Enrique Noda was a captain of the Rebel Army killed in the combat of Pino del Agua in 1958.
- Raulín González was a university student assassinated in September 1958 when he was trying to join the forces of the March 13 Revolutionary Directorate in Escambray.
Martyrs of Girón
Obelisk to the Martyrs of Girón located on the Cai Arrocero highway, belonging to the town of Amarillas, dedicated to the combatants Roberto Senarega del Sol, Julio Padrón Armenteros and Dagoberto Rojas, killed in combat on April 17, 1961 in Girón.
Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Independence
The Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Independence, located in the Manguito Popular Council, where the remains of mambises and conspirators from the municipality are found, among which are Pedro Alayón, Nicolas Rios and Francisco Varona. This was built in 1918.
